Terms of Service
Appointment Confirmation & Cancellation/Missed Appointments
A deposit equal to 25% of the estimate is required within seven days of scheduling your appointment. If the deposit is not received, the appointment will be cancelled. Keepin’ It Real Organized will re-confirm your appointment time with you 24-hours prior to your scheduled organization session. Full payment is due within fourteen days of delivery of the final invoice.
Cancellations received with less than 72 hours’ notice risk the loss of your deposit, if the appointment cannot be re-scheduled within two weeks. Emergencies will be taken on a case-by-case basis. Cancellations less than 12 hours prior to the scheduled appointment forfeit the entire deposit.
Acceptance of Services
Keepin’ It Real Organized will provide the client with a quote for hourly services or a flat rate fee (depending on package chosen) along with a PDF of these terms of service. We require a minimum of 50% of the estimate of services for all clients. Payment of the deposit indicates an acceptance of our pricing, policies and terms of service. Price negotiations after services are rendered are not accepted.
Once the contract has been executed, the start time will be agreed upon by both parties. Please make sure your “pre-work” is completed prior to our arrival (if applicable). We will start on time and ask that you are ready when we arrive.
Process Ownership
The Client maintains process ownership regarding the purging, sorting, and organizing of items. Keepin’ It Real Organized recognizes items as the sole property of the Client, and though efforts will be made to help purge when needed, the final decision on such matters belongs to the Client. This is hands-on organizing and Keepin’ It Real Organized will not remove items for discarding and donating without your permission.
Supplies & Shopping Assistance
For in-person organizing packages, Keepin’ It Real Organized will either make suggestions about what supplies should be purchased and the Client will do the shopping OR shop and purchase the supplies, and then bring them to the organizing session.
Project Outcomes
Project outcomes depend on the Client's willingness to purge and donate when needed, and to properly organize and maintain items. Long-term maintenance of organization hinges on the Client's commitment to maintaining the order, and quantity of items in the space. We offer maintenance programs.
Follow-Up
The Client has two business days to express that something was not completed to their satisfaction. It is recommended that the Client share their ideas throughout the process to help our team understand their preferences. It is the Client’s responsibility to schedule their post-organizing 30-minute check-in on Keepin’ It Real Organized’s website.
Fees & Payments
Keepin’ It Real Organized will decide independently and communicate to the Client in advance any additional fees and expenses. We will charge fees and expenses which we deem reasonable, legitimate, and commensurate with our experience, the services we deliver, and the responsibility we accept.

Our preferred method of payment is Zelle, ApplePay, or Venmo. We also accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) but there will be an additional fee for all payments made via credit card. All credit card payments are processed via a 3rd party to insure the protection of your data. We require a deposit that is equal to 50% of the estimate within seven days of confirming your appointment. Full payment is due within seven days of final invoice.
